Students will be able to

- identify language that signals which operation to use to solve a one-step word problem,

- solve one-step word problems using addition and subtraction.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- addition and subtraction up to 100.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- numbers greater than 100,
- solving word problems with more than one step.
