Objectives
Students will be able to
- define behavioral adaptations as changes in an organism’s behavior that help it survive or reproduce,
- describe examples of behavioral adaptations, including estivation, hibernation, and migration.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the concept that animals have features that help them survive in their environment.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- the evolution of adaptations by natural selection.
