Objectives

- add by converting to improper fractions,
- compare the sums of mixed numbers.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- finding common denominators of fractions using multiplication and division up to ,
- adding proper fractions with different denominators.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- finding lowest common multiples using prime factors.
