Objectives

Students will be able to

  • describe the locations of 3D shapes using positional language,
  • use positional language to identify a 3D shape.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • 3D shapes,
  • the terms top, middle, and bottom,
  • the terms above, below, beside, between, left, right, and next to,
  • the terms in front of and behind,
  • the terms over and under,
  • the terms inside and outside.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • giving directions,
  • ordinal numbers.
