Objectives
Students will be able to
- multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers with like denominators,
- multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers with unlike denominators.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- writing equivalent fractions,
- writing mixed fractions as improper fraction and vice versa,
- adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers with like and unlike denominators.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- converting between fractions, decimals, or percentages.
