Lesson Plan: The Electromagnetic Spectrum Physics
This lesson plan includes the objectives, prerequisites, and exclusions of the lesson teaching students how to analyze the electromagnetic spectrum by identifying and describing types of electromagnetic radiation and their sources.
Objectives
Students will be able to
- identify the approximate upper and lower wavelength bounds of the types of electromagnetic waves,
- identify plausible sources of types of electromagnetic waves.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- transverse waveforms,
- wavelength.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- any calculations.
