Objectives
Students will be able to
- use knowledge of place value to partition three-digits numbers,
- use models to find partial sums,
- find the sum of two three-digit numbers using partial sums.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- partitioning three-digit numbers,
- using place value models to represent three-digit numbers.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- sums of numbers with more than three digits.
