Objectives
Students will be able to
- convert a percentage into a decimal,
- convert a percentage into a fraction in its simplest form,
- compare different values of percentages and decimals or percentages and fractions by converting into decimals or fractions,
- order different values of percentages and decimals or percentages and fractions by converting into decimals or fractions.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- ratios,
- multiplying decimals by 10, 100, and 1,000.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- converting decimals and fractions to percentages,
- percentage equations.
