Objectives
Students will be able to
- calculate the rank of a matrix,
- understand and use the rank–nullity theorem.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- matrices,
- Gaussian elimination.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- LU, LDU, and PLU decomposition.
