Objectives

  • estimate the mean, median, and mode of a grouped data set.

Prerequisites

Students should already be familiar with

  • populations and samples.

Exclusions

Students will not cover

  • the resistance of a statistic,
  • outliers,
  • range,
  • standard deviation.
