Objectives
Students will be able to
- use partial fractions to find indefinite integrals of rational functions,
- use partial fractions to find definite integrals of rational functions.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- expressing rational functions in terms of partial fractions,
- indefinite and definite integration,
- algebraic division.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- integration using partial fractions with nonlinear factors.
