Lesson Plan: Composing 3D Shapes
This lesson plan includes the objectives and prerequisites of the lesson teaching students how to build simple 3D shapes and make larger shapes.
Objectives
Students will be able to
- build 3D shapes from cubes, sticks, and geometric blocks,
- stack geometric blocks to create 3D shapes,
- model 3D shapes using geometric blocks.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- identifying which 3D shapes can roll, stack, or slide.
