Objectives
Students will be able to

Students should already be familiar with
- how to write fractions using words and numbers,
- the concept of dividing a whole into equal parts,

Students will not cover
- denominators greater than 12,
- unit fractions,
- fractions greater than 1,
- operations with fractions,
- fractions of quantities,
- fractions on a number line,
- equivalent fractions,
- comparing nonunit fractions.
