Lesson Plan: Rearranging Formulas for Physical Quantities Physics

Objectives
Students will be able to
- change the subject of a formula,
- substitute a formula for a term in another formula,
- simplify a formula.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- arithmetic operations and raising to powers,
- indefinite variables.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- calculating values,
- the use of Euler’s number,
- calculus,
- trigonometry,
- series.
