Objectives

- find the dimensions of a sphere or a cube given the volume by using cube roots,
- simplify expressions involving cube roots.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- finding cube roots of perfect cubes.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- finding cube roots of numbers that result in irrational numbers,
- solving equations involving cube roots.
