Lesson Plan: Double Bar Graphs Mathematics • 6th Grade

Objectives
Students will be able to
- represent data from two-way tables on bar graphs,
- use a key to identify bars in bar graphs with multiple related bars,
- interpret data in bar graphs with multiple related bars and answer questions.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- bar graphs displaying one data set,
- reading bar graphs with unit and nonunit scales.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- histograms,
- line graphs.
