Lesson Plan: Adding Tens to Three-Digit Numbers Mathematics

Objectives
Students will be able to
- add tens to three-digit numbers with and without regrouping,
- count on in tens to add,
- model addition with place value blocks or counters,
- model addition on number lines.
Prerequisites
Students should already be familiar with
- the place value of three-digit numbers.
Exclusions
Students will not cover
- numbers above 1,000.
