Lesson: Light-Years Physics

Students will be able to

• recall the definition of a light-year,
• recall how far a light-year is in meters,
• calculate how far a light-year is in meters using the speed of light,
• convert large distance values between light-years and meters,
• recall the approximate size of the galaxy in light-years.
