Students will be able to
- describe the components of the female reproductive system, including the ovaries, oviducts/fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina,
- outline the functions of the components of the female reproductive system,
- describe the role of the ciliated cells in moving the ovum along the fallopian tubes,
- describe the role of female hormones in controlling the development of secondary sexual characteristics and aiding pregnancy.
