Lesson: Changing Habitats and Survival Science • 3rd Grade

Students will be able to

• describe ways in which animals respond to seasonal changes, including migration, hibernation, and molting,
• describe ways in which plants respond to seasonal changes, including becoming dormant and losing their leaves,
• describe ways in which living things respond to changes in their environment caused by natural events,
• describe ways in which living things respond to changes in their environment caused by other organisms,
• describe ways in which plants and animals respond to changes caused by human activity,
• identify solutions to problems caused when the environment changes.
