Students will be able to
- define the term producer,
- define adaptations as the characteristics an organism has that make it well suited for its environment,
- recall that adaptations can be associated with the structure of an organism, its behavior, or its function,
- explain what producers need in order to survive,
- explain how producers are adapted to their environment, given appropriate information,
- give examples of the adaptations a producer that is considered an extremophile needs.
