Lesson: Properties of 3D Shapes Mathematics • First Year of Primary School

Students will be able to

• identify 3D shapes from a description of the number of faces, edges, and vertices,
• identify the defining and nondefining attributes of 3D shapes as attributes that a shape always, sometimes, or never has,
• classify and sort 3D shapes based on their attributes.
