Lesson: Maps: Types and Tools Science

Students will be able to

• define map,
• name and locate features on a map using a key,
• use a compass rose to give locations of places on map,
• identify bodies of water and land on a map,
• identify the weather using a weather map,
• identify and compare the features on different types of maps,
• identify and compare the purpose of different types of maps.
