Students will be able to
- state that unicellular organisms are made up of only one cell that carries out all life processes,
- label the cell components of two freshwater organisms, Euglena and Amoeba,
- state that Euglena and Amoeba reproduce by binary fission,
- describe the different types of nutrition and the different methods of movement of Euglena and Amoeba,
- recall that both Euglena and Amoeba possess a contractile vacuole for excretion.
