Students will be able to

• define pollination as the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma,
• recall that plants can be self- and cross-pollinated,
• state that pollen will be released as an anther matures,
• describe the adaptations of wind- and insect-pollinated plants that help them be pollinated,
• describe how gardeners can artificially pollinate plants.
