Lesson: Classification of Animals Science

Students will be able to

• outline how a microscope can be used to study unicellular diversity,
• state that taxonomy is the science of grouping organisms to make them easier to study,
• define the term species as a group of similar organisms that can mate to produce fertile offspring,
• describe the classification of animals according to body type, number of legs, and number of teeth.
