Lesson Plan

Students will be able to

  • invert a matrix 𝐴 by creating the augmented matrix (𝐴∣𝐼) and performing row operations on it to get 𝐼∣𝐴,
  • show that a matrix is not invertible by performing row operations until a pivot entry appears in the right-hand side of the augmented matrix.
