Lesson Plan

Students will be able to

  • state the value of any digit in a number with 10, 11, or 12 digits,
  • decompose numbers up to a trillion using place value models and part–whole models,
  • write numbers with 10, 11, or 12 digits in word, standard, and expanded forms,
  • write numbers represented using part–whole models, place value tables, or abacuses.
