In this lesson, we will learn how to tell time on a twelve-hour clock using am and pm and identify when certain activities happen (am or pm).

Lesson Plan

Students will be able to

  • understand that clocks show the same times twice in a day,
  • correctly use the terms midday, midnight, and noon,
  • write the time using am or pm,
  • identify whether an event happens in the am or pm.
