In this video, we will show you how to use your portal as an admin.
If it’s the very first time that
you are logging in as an admin, head over to admins.nagwa.com. Input your account e-mail along
with your password. If you haven’t set up your password
yet, you will be asked to create and confirm your password here.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see
the “Activities” screen, with all of the activities that you can engage with
as a portal admin.
If you have multiple teachers who
are going to be using the portal, the first thing we would suggest doing is creating
your educator accounts by clicking “Add Educator” in “Activities” and then adding
all the required information for each teacher. Each educator’s username will then
be their e-mail, and when they first log in to educators.nagwa.com, they will need
to set and confirm their passwords.
Once you’ve set up all of your
educator accounts, we would suggest adding your year groups and then your classes
and then creating your student accounts. You can refer to our individual
admin videos for more details on how to complete each of these activities.
Once you’ve created all of your
years, classes, and student accounts, you can assign teachers and co-teachers to
classes, update how your students are arranged into classes, and edit or update
classes and years.
As an admin, you can update the
title and logo of your portal by clicking “Edit Portal”. And if you want to see the summary
statistics for your portal, click the arrow by your account name and click on
You can also get a view of the
wider activity on your portal including exam, worksheet, and assessment progress of
all students in the portal. You can view exam assignments by
clicking on “Exams” and then “View Exam Assignments”. And you can view all assessment and
worksheet analytics by clicking “Reports” along the task bar and then selecting the
reports that you are interested in.
Finally, if you want to browse
lessons in the portal, you can do this using the search button on the top right of
the portal. Just search for the lesson you have
in mind, for example, “Polynomial Division” and you’ll see a list of the most
appropriate lessons available to teachers and students in your portal.
It’s also worth noting that, as a
portal admin, you are already assigned as an educator in the portal. So, you can straightaway sign in to
educators.nagwa.com to start setting assessments and exams for your students.
