In this video, we will give you an overview of the Nagwa Readers app.

Nagwa Readers is a fantastic standalone app that can be consumed individually or as part of a Nagwa Portals membership. It makes use of innovative technology to ensure that the books and illustrations can be enjoyed seamlessly, regardless of the device that you are using.

It gives you access to a wide variety of reading materials that can be enjoyed by all ages, including a large number of beautifully illustrated, engaging stories and nonfiction material.

To start reading, head to the App Store or the Google Play Store, on a tablet or smartphone, search for “Nagwa Readers”, and then download the app.

Once downloaded, you will need to enter your name, year of birth, and the language that you’d like to read in, and then you’ll be able to browse the available library of books.

You’ll also be able to see if the particular story has an audio track by the presence of a pair of headphones on the bottom right of the tile and a tag saying “Audio” on the right of the category.

To read a particular story, for example, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck, click on the tile and then click the arrow on the right-hand side to download it. Once downloaded, the icon will turn into a book. Click it, and you’ll be taken to the story.

This is a picture book-style story, which means that it has different illustrations per page; you can progress through the story by swiping left or using the right arrow on the navigation bar. You can also listen to the narrated version by clicking on the play button and then the story will automatically progress as it’s read.

To go back at any time, swipe right or click the left arrow. Once you’re finished reading, you can click the home button to go back and browse the books.

As each book is individually downloaded, you will be able to enjoy them at any time, but be sure to download the books that you would like to read while you have access to Wi-Fi or a data connection.

You can switch between the online library and your downloads by toggling between the home icon and the downloads icon.

You can also change the reader details in the top-right corner. It’s here that you can change the language of the books that you’d like to read!

In summary, Nagwa Readers gives you access to an engaging library of books that you can consume for pleasure or to practice your reading. For younger children, there are a number of immersive, detailed illustrations to hold their attention and encourage their reading.
