In this video, we will show you how to use the portal search as a student.

When you are logged in to your portal, you will see a magnifying glass on the top right-hand side of the screen. This is consistent in browser view and mobile view as well as the Nagwa Study app.

If you click on the magnifying glass, you’ll see a search box appear. The portal search searches for lessons that are available to you on the portal, so you can use this to search for a particular lesson on the portal.

For example, if we want to find a lesson on “Volumes of Spheres”, we write this in the box and press “Enter” (or click the magnifying glass again).

You’ll now see the lesson called “Volumes of Spheres” at the top of the list. If you click on this, you’ll see the lesson video, the explainer, the question videos, and an associated worksheet. As a student, you can preview the worksheet, but you will not be able to see the answers, and you can attempt the questions in the worksheet, receiving instant feedback on your answers.

It’s also worth noting that once on the lesson page, on the right-hand side, you’ll see the full course in which the lesson is placed. You can easily navigate your way through the course by expanding it and scrolling through the list of lessons; for example, you’ll find the next lesson in the chapter is “Surface Areas of Spheres”. If you click this, you’ll then be able to work through this lesson.
